A native Houstonian, Melanie Donaldson graduated from North Shore High School. After attending classes at San Jacinto Jr. College, Melanie began her career by performing various accounting functions for oil and gas consulting firms. Melanie joined Marc Whitehead & Associates in August 1995.

Melanie holds an accreditation through the National Association of Legal Secretaries and is working towards a Legal Assistant certification. Melanie is also attending continuing legal education classes on a variety of topics including probate matters, ethics, legal research and writing, legal accounting, bankruptcy, legal administration, criminal procedure, and family law. Her function at the law firm includes both office management and litigation support.

Social Security Disability Paralegal

Theresa Foster became a native Texan at the age of six, after a brief beginning in New Jersey. Theresa graduated from Humble High School and later attended Stephen F. Austin University and North Harris County Community College. Theresa holds an associate's degree in Applied Science in Legal Specialization.

Theresa joined Marc Whitehead & Associates in 1999. Her primary responsibilities include work-up of Social Security Disability files as well as the securing and summarization of medical records. Theresa performs continuing file maintenance, which includes monitoring files with the Social Security Administration, filing appropriate requests and preparing case files for hearings.

Leslie Hall was born and raised in Wyandotte, Oklahoma before relocating to Texas in 1998. Leslie graduated from Wyandotte High School in Wyandotte, Oklahoma and subsequently worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for over ten years. Prior to joining Marc Whitehead & Associates, Leslie was the office manager for an independent publisher's representative.

VA Paralegal

Marilyn González was born in New York and after residing in a multitude of states, finally became a Houstonian in 2002.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York in 1982. After many years of educating grammar school children in New York, Florida and Virginia, she pursued her career in the legal field. This endeavor began with her earning an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate with honors from North Harris College Houston Texas. She also holds a designation as a Professional Houston Paralegal.

Marilyn González joined the Law Office of Marc Whitehead & Associates in the early part of 2011. Marilyn’s paramount duties and responsibilities are in the area of Veteran's Disability claims in addition to assisting in the Litigation department of our law firm.

Prior to joining the firm, she was the Senior Paralegal for the Law Office of Mark Conrad, providing litigation assistance in Labor and Employment law.

She was also a Paralegal for the City of Houston Attorney's Office, Business Litigation Division in the earlier part of her career. In this capacity, Marilyn provided litigation support in the areas of trials, arbitration, pleadings and legal research.
